The Challenge:
Research revealed that car buyers use many different methods of searching for a nearby dealer, yet they demand simplicity and ease of use. The challenge was to offer a highly flexible graphic method of finding a dealer, without the need for cumbersome forms or instructions.
The Solution:
This car maker’s locator, developed by GSC, is so intuitive it requires no instructions. A user clicks a location on the map, enters a zip code, chooses a state and/or city, or enters what they know of a dealership’s name. The results display shows a dynamic local map, dealer locations with clickable pop-up information with a photo of the dealership, as well as contact and even inventory information. The new search format has increased Locator usage by over 20 percent in the first four months of use.
